Every year on the second Sunday of October, Belarus celebrates the Day of Cultural Workers — a professional holiday for those who preserve and enhance the country’s spiritual heritage.
This holiday unites people of the most diverse creative professions: actors and directors, musicians and artists, museum workers and librarians, heads of creative teams and event organizers. We are all bound by one thing — boundless devotion to our cause.
Culture is the foundation of the identity and the source of the spirituality of the people. Cultural workers are guardians of cultural heritage and traditions, in whose creativity true spiritual values, the beauty of the native land, and the exceptional nature of Belarusian identity are embodied.
The Republican Scientific Medical Library is proud to be the part of this great and important cause. Librarians are also cultural workers who daily help readers to touch knowledge, preserve and popularize the bool heritage.
From the bottom of our hearts, we wish all cultural workers good health, inexhaustible inspiration, creative success, and prosperity!
