Information and Bibliographic Search
When working on a research topic or solving practical tasks, it is essential to know what has already been done in the country and abroad on the given issue, and what experience has been accumulated.
The library provides a bibliographic information search service on a specific topic in accordance with user requests. The service is rendered on the basis of the Price List of the Republican Scientific Medical Library (clause 6.7).
Service Procedure
The service can be requested either in person at the library or remotely by filling out the form below. Orders may also be sent by e-mail to rnmbminsk@rsml.med.by.
When placing an order, it is necessary to specify the research topic, relevant keywords (in Russian and/or English), the chronological period of publications to be searched (search depth), as well as the databases to be included in the search.
The order is processed within 5 to 10 working days, depending on the complexity of the task and the workload of the bibliographers.
As a result, the user receives a bibliographic list of references on the specified topic, compiled according to the defined set of keywords. Bibliographic descriptions of documents are given in the format of the source from which the information was obtained. The list is not arranged by subject or other criteria.
The list of references is sent to the user’s e-mail address indicated in the order form after the library receives confirmation of payment.
The cost of the service is calculated upon completion in accordance with the Price List and depends on the search depth.
