RSML continues presenting medical community with the works of Belarusian scientists in reputable foreign magazines which the library’s collection has received in January 2024.
Modern approaches to the solution of demographic issues in the Union State are addressed in the “Medical Nurse” magazine (2023, №8) by T.V. Matveichyk, Ph.D. in medicine and senior lecturer in Belarusian State Medical University, and the contributing authors.
“Infectology Magazine” (2023, №3) introduces two publications of Belarusian scientists where they give data analysis findings of examinations, complications, case histories of COVID-19 coronavirus infection and Varicella Zoster (an infection which occurs in conjunction with other ongoing health conditions).
Based on the information about cases of newly diagnosed main Ph-negative chronic myeloproliferative diseases recorded in 2014 – 2018 in hematology-based central regional medical institutions of Belarus, the scientists of the Republican Research Centre of Radiation Medicine and Human Ecology and the BSMU Institute of Advanced Training and Retraining of Healthcare Personnel conducted an epidemiological analysis of primary disease incidence in the population. The findings are reported in the “Hematology and Transfusiology” magazine (2023, № 3).
A team of authors of BSMU Institute of Advanced Training and Retraining of Healthcare Personnel presented in the “Obstetrics and Gynecology” magazine (2023, № 3) the research results of macro and microelements traces in the blood of pregnant women and women in labor with poor uterine contraction strength.
