The Republican Scientific Medical Library continues to acquaint the medical community with the materials of Belarusian scientists in authoritative foreign journals received by the library’s collection in September 2026.
In the journal “Experimental and Clinical Gastroenterology” (2024, № 3), specialists from Gomel State Medical University conducted an analysis of mortality from diseases of the digestive system in the territory of Gomel region for the period 2009-2019.
In the same journal, authors from the State Scientific Institution “Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Postgraduated Education “evaluated the effectiveness and safety of a synbiotic, including Cambodian garnicia extract, probiotics, and prebiotics, in patients with metabolic syndrome during a short-term course of administration (4 weeks).
